Much to love about this, but it especially strikes me how you’ve helped, as a caring adult, to raise another person’s child by giving Ruby your expectations and giving her the choice to engage her friend about it or not. Her friend learned something about engaging with other adults outside of her own family and practiced a skill she wasn’t practicing before. ❤️
