Oooch I love this confessional with the beautiful lessons and also the just really true truth about the work of not being an asshole - especially vulnerable in the face of the loss of a loved one. gosh I love your writing, itʻs so relatable and inspirational. If thatʻs your goal, youʻre killinʻ it! Iʻm grateful that I followed a note trail to find you here 💚

I’m very sorry about Evan’s mom’s death. And I appreciate your telling your own story so beautifully. Your insights are incredibly wise.

Thank you, Asha, for both of us. ❤️ I manage to stumble my way into some insight eventually. Without the stumbling the insight wouldn’t be necessary, probably.

Being human is hard. I love this story, if only because I relate so much, and because in thue end the biggest need was loving acceptance and everyone got some of that. It is very grown up to let people be where they are and to be vulnerable with them anyway. And he's right, some stuff just sucks. And you're right, losing a parent is life-changing in all sorts of predictable and unpredictable ways. Thanks for choosing to honor your needs and writing about it. I need role models 🤗🫣😊💔❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Just found your writing and subscribed after reading this first post. It connected with what I heard Brené Brown say in this short video clip last week—marriage/partnership is never a 50/50 endeavor. Looking forward to reading more. https://youtu.be/yfL4RTuC9Bk
