I exist in service to the Universe, the Earth via my heart. In those moments when I am deeply aligned on this path, it is pure bliss. Every year I get to spend more time there as I learn what my heart needs. Thanks for the inspiration and podcast! Love you!
It's a bit scary—putting oneself under the microscope and honestly self-reflecting. I suppose that's why it has never been habitual for me. It happens in seasons. That's hardly enough, and better should be done. As you rightly said, our values are our responsibilities and being true to them requires, first, a knowledge of us—of Self. Thanks for this, Asha.
You're right. It can be scary, which is absolutely why I encourage folks to work with a professional therapist if they can, or a 12-step program if what they're dealing with has one, or some other kind of pastoral counseling or group therapy. Anywhere you don't actually have to bear it all alone. We need company and to have our value reflected back to us from other people when we're in the thick of the worst of it. What we get, though, if we're willing to take the risks to do the work? So, so much integrity and strength. XO, Asha
