So true. Getting myself out to a park or just to gaze at neighborhood flowers. Good for the soul

I think a lot about my own diminished capacity for focus. As well as my need for restful activity, and what rest might actually *be.*

One way I've been resting my brain when forced to be inside is this series of videos from Craig Mod, where nothing exciting happens, but you can watch the rain, or a postman making rounds. I find they train my capacity to pay attention to...well, nothing exciting happening. As I was reading this post, I realized they are promoting soft fascination.
