So, I’ve been dealing with a Covid diagnosis for the past five days. I’ve masked even in my own house, kept away from my kids and housemate, and asked permission to spend time in communal spaces. I’ve mostly stuck to my bedroom, though, even when nobody’s home, because it feels like that’s the proper thing— to isolate myself.
