Today we got our Christmas tree up. This is our tradition: we pick a tree from somewhere local, set it up in the living room, my youngest finally gets to play Christmas music as loud as they want, we all drink egg nog, all the ornaments we’ve been accumulating over the years get unpacked, and then we decorate.
